Healthy Cookie- Awesomely Good!

Healthy Cookie

When I think of healthy cookies, I tend to think less on healthy . I first think of mom’s homemade cookies with a tall glass of milk and my mouth waters. Then there are those crispy sandwich cookies it seems no-one turns away. You know the one – regular, double stuff, and now an array of flavored. What draws us so much to these decadent delights?

First, there’s the warm memories of childhood abandonment. We could eat about anything and get away with it. Cookies, ice cream, pies, and cakes. Then, of course, the sugar rush- where we ran around the place like little banshees. That is where the second thing comes in! The Mmm that is in every bite. The sugar. We all love the sweetness and some crave it a bit too much. Why? We know that sugar gives us energy. We see the energy it creates when we are working hard and running low on energy.

A sweet snack can give us that edge. And these Healthy cookies can Deliver without the bad sugar additives. The search for something good for you is so hard with so many companies jumping in on the “healthy” band wagon. The search to enjoy a healthy cookie is over. Get yours now!

Healthy Cookie vs. Sugar and Weight!

Healthy Cookie

Too much sugar is synonymous with too much weight. Our bodies are made to take the things it doesn’t know what to do with, and store it in fat cells. Therefore our collective bodies are getting larger every year. Everywhere you shop, there is sugar in about anything we eat today. (even bratwurst). It has the names – sugar, added sugar, syrup, high fructose corn syrup, dextrose, etc. Google it – I found a list for 56 different names and I’m sure there are more. Therefore our bodies are hammered with sugar.

You see, I too struggle with weight and sugar problems. It has felt like a steep uphill battle trying to find a good tasting healthy snack. We have sugar in nearly everything. Look at the labels of the foods you love. Learn the different names. While it does help with flavors in manufactured food, what it does to our gut is not for our health. In contrast, we know we need some sugar for energy. So, what can we do? Give yourself the gift of healthy cookies for gut health.

We do have help. Gut experts tell us to get our gut healthy by feeding it less sugar and more fiber and probiotics. Therefore, cutting out the added sugars (in all their names) and keeping ingredients simple can give our bodies the needed edge. There are those out there who are concerned with where we are going in terms of gut health.
